Sumrell Sugg Attorneys appointed to lead state-level association practice groups.

Attorneys Derrick Bailey and Ryan Eubanks have been tapped to lead state-level practice groups within the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA).  At last month’s annual conference, Derrick was appointed to be vice-chair of the Association’s local government practice group, and Ryan was appointed to be chair of the Association’s Young Lawyers Committee. Both Derrick and Ryan work in the firm’s civil litigation practice group, representing local governments across the state in a variety of complex, general liability cases.  

NCADA’s local government practice group includes attorneys in private practice and the public sector representing state and local government entities and provides networking and educational opportunities at the Association’s Fall Seminar.  NCADA’s Young Lawyers Committee plans an annual trial skills CLE and sponsors an annual 1-hour substance abuse/mental health lunch and learn CLE for the Association’s attorneys who are 36 years and younger.
